Incense sand creates a heat-safe base inside a charcoal burner. It cushions the charcoal, protects the burner from cracking, and promotes better airflow so the charcoal burns evenly. To use it, add a layer of sand to the bottom of the burner, place the charcoal on top, and add your resin or loose incense once the charcoal is fully lit. Always remember: Never leave burning charcoal, incense, or any heat‑producing item unattended.
